love this ask, ty! brendol mentions in chapter 4 that the cologne he leaves him smells like orris (a powdery/woody scented flower), pepper (specifically black pepper), and kibo (a sweet/heavy scented flower native to a GFFA which i hc smells like violet). two middle notes he cannot articulate are that of poppy seed and labdanum - the poppy providing a hazy, light, narcotic effect, reminiscent of the opioid it precedes - intoxicating but lethal in high doses - and the labdanum which supplies a leathery, masculine scent brendol cannot himself place, but is nonetheless drawn to.

i love so many different manners of smells that i could not possibly have one single fragrance i wear everyday. i would say that, historically, my designated favourites have been miss dior cherie (RIP this one, i really loved it when i was a young girl. funnily enough i don't remember it being a gourmand, i just remember a sparkly, fruity rose), dior poison (so edgy of me LOL but i've always loved the 90s plum/berries and the iris powdery lipstick smell), ysl opium (still a staple when it comes to spicy perfumes) & diorissimo (basically every white flower you can imagine).

lavender. i'm obsessed with it. the soapy, clean kind. it's just so comforting. also clean musk scents that mimic fresh laundry. i have a couple & can't get enough of them. i've decided that this scent profile is what brat summer smells like 😂 also another one that's similar would be paco rabanne - olympea because it's fresh and clean but it has a cool salty, marine kick to it that's unexpected. i used up both my ysl libre & olympea dupes this summer. (another thing about me is that i love a good dupe, i'm not going broke bc of this hobby. i do not care for the IP of multi-million dollar corporations so don't @ me)

not really, no. i think men's fragrances often smell very boring. most of them are 'nice' i guess, but ultimately very boring and lacking nuance. citrus, conifers etc. ultimately it is kind of a dumb idea to gender smells but i'm not really interested in "smelling like a man" in the traditional understanding of the concept. that being said, there are a couple of male-targeted perfumes i would purchase for myself and wear: egoiste by chanel (smells like cough syrup!), dior homme (that powdery lipstick smell i mentioned), dior fahrenheit (gasoline, violets, vanilla?? it's been a while since i smelt it). my dad is a big fan of jean paul gaultier le male and i have to say, the wormwood note intrigues me (it's a component of absinthe) + the lavender and cardamom. as classic male ingredients, i'm a fan of cedar and vetiver, too (idk if patchouli should be in this category as well)

unusual ones! ones that you wouldn't really expect a man to wear! my bf & i sampled habit rouge by guerlain this sunday in sephora and it wore really well on him! so did my baccarat rouge dupe. boozy perfumes are always a hit - surprisingly, in this category, the BENTLEY for men has a really cool rum note and is basically unisex. i know tom ford is overrated and overpriced, but i would be lying if i said i didn't stan. i love so many from their collection, both on me and on my bf: velvet orchid, tobacco vanille, ombre leather, bitter peach (this last one is irresistible). the lost cherry fragrances may be flat and not super complex, but if you LOVE smelling different versions of cherry like i do, you won't need anything else. that almond smell is just mouth-watering i'm sorry

i like the concept of hair sprays but i have curly/wavy hair and it's not good for me if it has alcohol bc it dries out the curls and ruins the texture so idk. can't say i have tried any

Liesel is hands DOWN Bibliothèque by Byredo. I don't think she'd BUY this perfume for herself (IDK what she'd acutally buy tbh- maybe Mémoire d'une Odeur by Gucci) but Bibliotheque is what she DOES actually smell like naturally. Its light and fresh but with that paper and ink smell that just transports the senses to an airy monastery or library on a spring day with the sweet breeze coming through. A possibility for her is Paper by Commodity even though I'm not entirely sure because I've never smelled that one and its very tricky to nail the right aesthetic though it has been described as very bookshop like. I would LIKE to include something involving lavender, as many people has said they think Liese wears lavender, but I'm just going to assume she wears a lavender lotion or soap because I don't thinks she'd pick a lavender perfume. Perfume wise, Liese doesn't buy herself perfume? Its like jewelry for her- if someone gifts it she wears it, otherwise she doesn't think to buy herself perfume.

Olga's perfume is ACUTALLY known and its "The Rose" by Coty which is literally JUST rose according to notes and people's reviews so for a modern take I'd wager 'A La Rose' by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. I'm basing this off the reviews for the original which say its a clean pure rose and I'd definitely say MFK's 'A La Rose' is JUST the same and I should know I own a bottle and absolutely adore it.

Marguerite absolutely was one of the FIRST to wear/discover Baccarat Rouge 540 by Maison Francis Kurkdjian but after it hit popularity she stopped wearing it because everyone wore it. She likes a distinctive elegant scent like Portrait of a Lady by Frederic Malle or of course (!!!!) the infamous Delina by Parfums de Marly but again I feel its so popularized that she might not wear it though she does like it. What she MIGHT do is layer both perfumes together, but I do feel like Carnal Flower by Frederic Malle is definitely a Marg.uerite St. Ju.st scent because of the white florals which is the true marguerite at her core beyond the popularity of who society thinks she is. Or maybe even Le Bouquet de la Reine by Guerlain because she loves supporting French perfume houses and this scent is so floral, playful and light that it would just be a fantastic fragrance for her (aka the queen of the people).

Nina has stolen her mother's bottle of Mémoire d'une Odeur by Gucci but she also wears Florence by Tocca which is a green-white floral on a daily basis. Maybe Chloe by Chloe when she's feeling especially feminine or Coco Madmoiselle because its such a classic feminine scent. While Liesel is more dark academia scents then Nina is more Light academia / parisian scents like I could say hands down Nina would wear Chanel N'5 l'eau, not the original, with a rose or lily oil to layer the scent.

Stefan is a difficult one. He's a woodsy-clean-leather scent kind of person, but he's also...a bit stuck-up so I could see him wearing Tom Ford's 'Ombre Leather' as a signature scent or 'Oud for Greatness' by Initio for a date night or when he wants to feel good about himself. Otherwise, she'd most likely smell of clean cotton, whatever she might have baked recently, coffee, and something faintly sweet.

Shral: Shral wears minimal personal scents, but we know his hair product is a particularly attractive scent to Dagmar. I loosely headcanon it as smelling kind of like oak or sandalwood with something to brighten it up a bit, and it would blend well with the natural musk that Dagmar has noticed before. On the rare occasion where he might be in a mood to wear something, I think Shral would go for something close to the skin, unobtrusive, like Iso Super E - a woody, musky, ambery aroma-chemical which smells a little different on everyone.

Lilith's Outfits

The camera on my tablet is crap, but hopefully you can see them enough.

Devildom is a turquoise sweater, deep brown knee length skirt, black stockings, and knee high boots.

Human World is blush pink dress, knee high boots, and pearl necklace.

She wears four rings. Left hand has a gold ring with a blue, green and magenta mixed gemstone (ring finger) and silver band (index finger). Right hand has a silver ring with gemstones of her brothers' colors (ring finger) and gold band (index finger).

Celestial Realm was a strapped white dress with see-through sleeves, gold pendant necklace, and ombre on the flowy skirt: purple, navy blue, teal, pale turquoise, and pale yellow. Had her hair down to the end of her back.

Demon form is a teal crop top, fishnet shirt, black denim shorts, black fingerless gloves, and black knee boots. Long tail with 12 spikes and small curled horns. Cut hair to the shoulder blades. (Because she wears elegantly skirts and dresses in pastels, her demon outfit symbolizes her rebellion against her father.)

RAD uniform is unisex, jacket is above her knees and wears a star necklace. Beel is the sun, Belphie is the moon, and Lilith is the star.

Bunny girl look has design details from her brothers. Mammon's vest, Levi's collar, Belphie's belt bow and sleeves, Asmo's boots (kinda) and Satan's shoe design. Her gloves inspired by an artist drawing glove. (Edit: Bunny ears and bowtie will be black to shades of gray)

Yukata is matching Beel and Belphie's. Beel is fire, Belphie is wind, and she is water. The collar is the opposite of Beel's and the obi and obi-shime are purple (a mix of the colors for Beel and Belphie's obi and obi-shime)

Masked is a patient, Beel was a doctor and Belphie was a nurse. Patient gown is to the knees with blue dots, fake blood on the hands and gown, and wears white flats.

Pirate is a white dress that ties in the front of the bust and the front of the skirt is slightly above the knee and the back is middle of calves, brown fabric around the skirt, violet corset, black leather jacket, belt with sword, brown boots, and mint green bandana wrapped on the head.

Kimono is violet with fox paw print pattern, black obi, mint green obi-shime and obi-age, and white furred scarf.

Gothic is laced flowy sleeves that flare out with cuffs above the elbows, knee length dress, corset, brooch, and knee boots.

Birthday is violet suit with white stars on the jacket, black necktie, white shirt, black tights and heels.

Devil Day is a white dress with brown belt, black heels and gold rose pin with mint green and violet.

Beach is a sky blue two piece, yellow cover, silver pendant necklace with orange, medium blue, and mint green gemstones, black braided bracelet, and sandals.

Onesie is of a frog because they're her favorite animal.

Paws and claws is of a crane: white knee length dress, silver discs belt with light green, blue and purple gemstones hanging off of her left hip, gray tights, white booties, and white feathered shawl.

Maid is black dress with violet patchwork and diamond pattern on the skirt, white gloves with lace on the wrist, black mary-janes, black stockings, apron, and flower brooch.

TSL is black dress with violet on the front, tied on waist, long sleeves with silver trim on the ends of the sleeve and around the elbow, squared collar with silver trim, black cape draped on the shoulders, black choker with a blue eye, and a necklace with purple, blue and red gemstones.
